Kingfisher Metals Validates Jurassic Porphyry Mineralization in Golden Triangle
Kingfisher Metals Corp. has disclosed recent geochronology results from its Hank-Mary district within the HWY 37 Project in British Columbia's Golden Triangle. The findings confirm magmatic-hydrothermal activity occurring between 190-186 Ma, aligning with prominent deposits like Mitchell Cu-Au and Brucejack Au-Ag. These results support a large, fertile porphyry system similar in age to these key regional deposits.
Initial analyses show that the Hank-Mary district's mineralization timeline corresponds with the largest undeveloped Cu-Au porphyry deposit in Canada, the Mitchell deposit. Meanwhile, its epithermal gold shares timing with the Brucejack Au-Ag deposit. CEO Dustin Perry emphasizes these results validate Kingfisher's exploration model, highlighting the district's strong parallels to significant gold-rich systems.
