Kingfisher Metals Corp. has announced the appointment of Ashwath Mehra as Chairman of its Advisory Board. Mehra, with nearly 40 years in mining and finance, has an extensive background in capital markets and business ventures across various industries.

Mehra began his career in commodity trading and played a pivotal role at Glencore International AG, managing nickel and cobalt operations. His expertise extends to leadership roles, including CEO of MRI Trading AG and Executive Chairman of GT Gold, a company he founded and later sold to Newmont Corporation.

Dustin Perry, Kingfisher's CEO, expressed enthusiasm for Mehra's appointment, highlighting his successful track record. Mehra's involvement is expected to propel Kingfisher in its mineral exploration endeavors, particularly in consolidating land in the Golden Triangle.
