Kalo Gold Confirms Mineralized Bedrock at Wainikoro

Kalo Gold Corp. has announced promising fire assay results confirming gold mineralization in Wainikoro's bedrock within its Vatu Aurum Project, Fiji. Fire assays validated the earlier detectORE™ field screening results, revealing gold presence in both surface and bedrock. Key findings include surface samples yielding up to 8.78 g/t Au, with bedrock trench samples showing up to 2.93 g/t Au.

Multiple gold mineralization forms were identified, including chalcedonic quartz veins and hydrothermal breccias. The successful laboratory assays strengthen the geological model of the Wainikoro low-sulphidation epithermal gold system, particularly along the Nubu Graben corridor. Upcoming geophysical surveys, such as CSAMT and IP, aim to delineate the mineralized system's subsurface architecture.

This phase is crucial for refining the exploration strategy, paving the way for targeted, future prioritizations. Kalo Gold continues to build on its geological understanding through consistent exploration efforts.
