Kalo Gold Completes First Phase Drilling at Vatu Aurum Project in Fiji

Kalo Gold Corp. has concluded the first phase of drilling at its 367 km² Vatu Aurum Project in Fiji, targeting a subset of over 25 high-priority locations within the Aurum Epithermal Field. The project encompasses vein-hosted and diatreme-related epithermal gold systems. Initial assay results are anticipated by mid-October 2025.

The initial drilling phase examined only four targets, leaving much of the field unexplored. The program uncovered two distinct gold systems: epithermal vein-hosted gold at Namalau, Loma, and Buca trends, and diatreme-related mineralization at the Qiriyaga Complex. The Namalau Trend appears to be a well-preserved epithermal system, while Qiriyaga holds significant potential for deeper gold deposits.

With safe field operations and no incidents, the exploration continues efficiently. Upcoming steps include analyzing pending assay results, further trenching, and expanding drill testing across other targets.
