Julius Baer Group Announces Board Changes
On 16 March 2026, Julius Baer Group Ltd. revealed that Olga Zoutendijk will not seek re-election to the Board of Directors at the next Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 9 April 2026, ending her tenure. Sir Noel Quinn, Chairman, expressed gratitude for her contributions over her seven-year involvement, notably in the Audit and Governance & Risk Committees.
In her place, Julius Baer plans to nominate Colin Bell for the Board. Bell brings extensive experience from his previous roles at HSBC and UBS, focusing on compliance and risk management. Sir Noel Quinn highlighted Bell's strengths in building sophisticated compliance programs.
Despite the proposed board changes, the company acknowledges shortcomings in meeting gender diversity goals and is committed to recruiting qualified female candidates by the next AGM in 2027.
