Julius Baer Group Achieves Record Net Profit in First Half of 2026
Julius Baer Group Ltd. has reported a record net profit of CHF 673 million for the first half of 2026, marking a notable increase from CHF 295 million in the same period last year. This performance is attributed to all-time high assets under management (CHF 547 billion), pronounced client activity, and improved operating leverage. Earnings per share (EPS) also rose significantly to CHF 3.27, compared to CHF 1.44 from the previous year.
The group's capital position was further enhanced with the CET1 capital ratio climbing to 18.5%, surpassing regulatory requirements. Assets under management grew by 5% year-to-date due to positive market performance and net new money inflows of CHF 5.7 billion.
Operating income reached CHF 2,276 million, driven by a 12% growth in net commission and fee income. The liquidity coverage ratio similarly improved, reaching a robust 344%. Julius Baer remains optimistic about its strategic goals, underscoring efforts to sustain organic growth.
