JOST Divests Indian Tipper Body Business to Belrise Industries

JOST Werke SE announced the divestment of its Indian Tipper Body Business, part of Hyva, to Belrise Industries Limited. This strategic move is expected to complete in Q4 2026. JOST decided to focus more on tipping cylinders, hydraulic components, and digital systems after acquiring Hyva in February 2025. The divestment aims to lower JOST's vertical integration and enhance operational flexibility in India.

The Indian tipper body sector generates €30-€40 million annually with an EBITDA of €1 million. The transaction price is set at €5 million. JOST confirmed its revenue and earnings outlook for 2026, as the transaction won't impact this fiscal year's results. Closure of the deal depends on regulatory approvals.

CEO Joachim Dürr emphasizes that this aligns with JOST's strategy for profitable growth by centering on core hydraulic solutions. Meanwhile, Belrise intends to integrate the business to bolster its market position and manufacturing capabilities, ensuring continuity for all stakeholders through the transition.
