Jaguar Mining Nears Resumption of Operations at MTL Complex

Jaguar Mining Inc. has completed remediation efforts for its MTL Complex in Minas Gerais, Brazil, aiming for a safe resumption of operations. After a slump at the Satinoco dry-stacked pile in December 2024, work focused on ensuring safety and compliance. The National Mining Agency (ANM) received comprehensive technical documentation from Jaguar on December 10, 2025, to demonstrate stability and readiness.

CEO Luis Albano Tondo noted that key safety measures were implemented by expert teams, exceeding required safety standards in crucial areas. The site has undergone extensive upgrades, including an internal drainage system, slope reconfigurations, and emergency infrastructure.

With Stages 1 and 2 of the Resumption Plan finalized, Jaguar awaits ANM approval to proceed with underground and metallurgical operations. The resumption aims to benefit stakeholders and the local economy while ensuring stringent safety protocols are maintained.
