Jaguar Health's Napo Pharmaceuticals Sponsors Panel at Abu Dhabi Conference

Jaguar Health, Inc. has announced that its company, Napo Pharmaceuticals, will sponsor the 2nd Best of Elite Ped-GI meeting in Abu Dhabi. The event will include a panel discussion on intestinal barriers beyond total parenteral nutrition, featuring experts like Dr. Mohamad Miqdady and Dr. Christos Tzivinikos. Dr. Miqdady, a leader in pediatric gastroenterology from Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, and Dr. Tzivinikos, a chairman and consultant from Dubai, will share insights into the field.

Napo is focused on developing oral crofelemer for rare intestinal failure diseases, such as MVID and SBS-IF. Recent studies presented in France demonstrated significant reductions in parenteral support requirements for treated pediatric patients. With ongoing development, Jaguar plans to file a New Drug Application for MVID by mid-2027. This initiative highlights the collaboration among professionals to advance knowledge in pediatric gastrointestinal care.
