IVU and Hellenic Train Join Forces to Revolutionize Rail Mobility in Greece

Hellenic Train is set to enhance efficiency in Greece's rail transport by modernizing its central planning processes. The national railway company will adopt IVU Traffic Technologies AG's IVU.rail solution. This marks a shift from old systems and manual procedures to a digitalized framework.

Currently, Hellenic Train operates approximately 300 trips daily, with a fleet of 550 vehicles and about 500 operational staff. Previously, the company managed personnel and vehicle assignments separately and manually. IVU.rail will now integrate these operations, streamline dispatching, enhance coordination, and improve database reliability. It also manages personnel rostering, considering contractual rules, and supports payroll.

IVU's Software-as-a-Service, hosted in IVU.cloud, provides Hellenic Train with a centralized system for seamless operations. This collaboration further strengthens IVU's position in the global railway resource optimization market.
