DB Regio Rail Division is enhancing its operations by utilizing the IVU.pad mobile portal from IVU Traffic Technologies AG. This tool aids in the planning and dispatching processes for its train drivers. It allows duty schedules to be accessible remotely and enables the tracking of changes and centralized management of personal data. The solution, integrated with IVU.rail, connects employees directly with Personnel Dispatch.

With around 12,000 train drivers and 6,000 customer service advisors, DB Regio is Germany's largest regional and suburban rail service operator. The mobile solution provides access to duties, work times, and qualifications. In the future, employees will be able to submit requests for holidays, days off, and shift preferences digitally. This improvement facilitates direct communication and enhances staff satisfaction by reducing reliance on dispatchers.
