Iute Group Expands Digital Payment Services in Southeast Europe
Iute Group, a significant player in the European personal finance sector, has announced a pivotal development for its subsidiary, IutePay. The North Macedonian arm, Iute Pay DOOEL Skopje, has been granted an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license by the Central Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia. This license allows IutePay to enhance its financial services offering in the region.
With the EMI license, IutePay will provide a wide range of digital payment services in North Macedonia. Residents can look forward to opening payment accounts, topping up digital wallets, accessing funds through cardless ATMs, and making real-time money transfers via the MyIute mobile app.
Aleksandar Petkovski, CEO of IutePay Macedonia, sees this as more than just regulation, but a transformative step for financial services in the region. IutePay aims to roll out these services in the first half of 2026.
