Irving Resources Progresses on Gold-Silver Holdings in Japan
Irving Resources Inc. has provided an update on its epithermal gold-silver projects on the Noto Peninsula, Honshu, Japan. The company's 99 prospecting licenses cover four target areas with notable geological features and resources expected to establish Irving as the largest holder of prospecting licenses in the region.
The Noto Project is a joint venture including Newmont Overseas Exploration Limited, Sumitomo Corporation, and Irving, with Irving owning a 27.5% stake. Initial surveys revealed geological similarities to the historic Sado Kinzan mine site.
Overcoming Covid and earthquake challenges, Irving began systematic sampling in 2024. The Shika area has been a key focus, revealing historical mining sites and significant geological features. The company has been conducting extensive fieldwork and sampling to better understand the region’s resource potential, with results pending.
