Irving Resources and JX Metals Advance Omu Project

Irving Resources Inc., in collaboration with JX Advanced Metals Corporation, has reviewed the progress of their first year at the Omu Project in Hokkaido, Japan. Under an Option Agreement, JX Metals can earn up to a 75% interest in Omu Sinter Pit by investing at least 300 million yen in exploration over three years. JX Metals has met the first-year requirements and retains the exclusive exploration rights to the site during the option period. Together, the companies have drilled five shallow holes at the Omui Mining License, revealing a 200 m north-south mineralized corridor. A notable discovery was a high-gold zone in hole 25OMI-002.

At Omu Sinter, a vertical drill hole has uncovered a 41.81 m high-silica gold-silver intercept, confirming the site's potential as a significant gold deposit. Further drilling is underway to assess groundwater levels and continuity. Both companies are strategizing to further advance the Omu Project, potentially establishing it as a crucial source of smelter flux in Japan.
