Irving Resources Advances Exploration at Shika Gold-Silver Project

Irving Resources Inc. has completed detailed geological, geochemical, and geophysical surveys at the Unoya Mine area within its Shika epithermal gold-silver project in Japan. The surveys revealed silicification and argillic alteration in the Early to Middle Miocene Besshodake Andesite, affecting rocks and sediments in the area. Geologists identified gold-bearing quartz vein floats indicating a potential shear structure. Sample NT0674 showed high assay values of 62.3 g/t Au and 604 g/t Ag. A drone magnetic survey identified a subdued magnetic zone, suggesting hydrothermal alteration and potential drilling targets.

Systematic geological mapping, rock sampling, and a high-resolution drone magnetic survey have enhanced understanding of the mineralized system. A grid-based soil sampling survey was also conducted, with results pending. Based on encouraging results, the company is considering drilling as the next exploration phase in 2027, focusing on shallow-depth targets. Irving's Noto Project marks its third Japanese exploration initiative, encompassing projects from early exploration to development stages.
