IRES Announces CFO Transition: Mari Hurley to Succeed Brian Fagan

Irish Residential Properties REIT plc (IRES) has announced the upcoming retirement of its Chief Financial Officer, Brian Fagan, after nearly five years of service. Mari Hurley will succeed him at a date yet to be confirmed. She joins IRES from her current role as CFO of the broadcaster RTÉ.

Hurley brings extensive financial experience from her previous roles, including CFO at the AA (Ireland), Premier Lotteries Ireland, and Hostelworld Group plc. Her tenure as a non-executive director at the National Asset Management Agency adds further strength to her profile. Her background includes a B. Comm and a Master of Accounting in Ireland.

The appointment follows a comprehensive selection process led by IRES's Nomination Committee and CEO. Current CEO Eddie Byrne expressed gratitude for Fagan's contributions, highlighting his achievements in finance and technology transformation. Byrne welcomed Hurley's depth of experience as beneficial to IRES's future objectives.
