Ipsos Appoints New Chair as Didier Truchot Steps Down
On January 15, 2026, Ipsos announced that Didier Truchot will resign as Chairman of the Board due to health concerns. Truchot has been battling digestive tract cancer for almost four years. His resignation will be effective on February 28, 2026. Despite stepping down, he plans to remain involved as a director and major shareholder.
The Board of Directors unanimously appointed Laurence Stoclet as the new Chair, effective March 1, 2026. Stoclet brings extensive experience, having served in executive roles at Ipsos since 1998, including as Chief Financial Officer and Deputy CEO. To enhance governance, Anne-Marie Couderc has been named Lead Independent Director.
Truchot expressed confidence in Ipsos' future, emphasizing opportunities from technological advancements and the leadership of CEO Jean Laurent Poitou. The Board extended their support and appointed Truchot as Chairman Emeritus.
