Positive Phase III Results for Dysport® in the Treatment of Migraine

On July 9, 2026, Ipsen announced significant progress with Dysport® (abobotulinumtoxinA) in its Phase III BEOND program, targeting both episodic and chronic migraine. The E-BEOND and C-BEOND studies met their primary endpoints, demonstrating a statistically significant reduction in migraine days per month compared to placebo.

Dysport® is the first botulinum toxin to achieve such results in episodic migraine, opening up promising prospects for patients suffering from a condition for which preventive options remain limited. These clinical trials, which included 1,510 patients, also confirmed the treatment's good tolerability profile.

The results of this program will soon be presented at a scientific congress, reinforcing the importance of Dysport® as a potential "first-in-class" treatment.
