InvIOs Reveals Promising Phase 1 Data for APN401 Cell Therapy

InvIOs GmbH has published Phase 1 clinical data for its CBL-B-silenced autologous cell therapy, APN401, in Molecular Therapy Oncology. The data covers 17 patients with advanced solid tumors who previously underwent multiple lines of treatment. The therapy showed a favorable safety profile with no significant adverse events.

APN401 was evaluated at three dose levels, and the highest was chosen for Phase 2 trials. Disease stabilization occurred in 5 out of 10 RECIST-evaluable patients. Additionally, exploratory immune profiling noted systemic changes post-treatment, hinting at enhanced immune responses against tumors.

The therapy leverages the EPiC® platform for rapid, decentralized manufacturing. InvIOs highlighted the therapy's potential in treating challenging tumor types. These findings support further studies to expand treatment options for life-resistant solid tumors.
