Inventiva Finalizes Debt Restructuring and New Financing
Inventiva has announced the full repayment of its European Investment Bank (EIB) loans totaling approximately €62 million and the repurchase of certain EIB warrants for €50 million. This move is part of a larger debt restructuring effort following a €90 million equity offering closed on June 5, 2026.
On June 12, 2026, the company issued €75 million in new debt through convertible and amortized bonds. BlackRock and Claret Capital Partners managed the associated funds and accounts. The proceeds from these new bonds are aimed at solidifying Inventiva's financial stability and supporting the development of its clinical-stage biopharmaceutical projects.
The issuance of Lenders’ Warrants accompanies these bonds, potentially allowing further subscription to Ordinary Shares. Inventiva continues to advance its therapeutic research, notably for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH).
