Intershop Revises 2025 Financial Forecast

Intershop Communications AG has adjusted its financial forecast for the year 2025. The decision follows a weaker-than-expected performance in its cloud new business sector, along with persistent challenges in handling costs related to large-scale service projects.

The company now anticipates a revenue decline between 10% and 15%, a revision from the previously forecasted 5% to 10% decline. Additionally, earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) are projected to be in the negative low single-digit million euro range, contrasting with the earlier outlook of slightly positive EBIT.

Cloud order intake is expected to show a slight decline compared to 2024, reversing the earlier prediction of a modest increase. The net new annual recurring revenue (ARR) is forecasted to be between EUR 1.0 million and EUR 2.0 million, down from a previous expectation of growth over the last year's EUR 2.7 million.
