Intershop Reports H1 2026 Results with Positive EBIT

Intershop Communications AG disclosed its performance for the first half of 2026, reporting a 26% increase in incoming cloud orders to EUR 8.4 million. The company achieved a slightly positive EBIT of EUR 0.1 million, attributable to an improved cost base, while cash flow from operating activities rose significantly to EUR 4.3 million.

Revenues for the period reached EUR 15.8 million, impacted by cloud growth and a strategic decline in license and service revenues. Cloud revenues grew by 4% to EUR 10.5 million, making up 67% of total revenues. Despite a net new ARR decline in Q1 due to non-renewals, Q2 saw a rebound, achieving positive figures.

Service revenues fell by 14% to EUR 3.2 million due to a partner-first approach, yet service margins improved. Operating expenses were down by 11%, leading to a higher gross margin of 49%. Intershop maintains its forecast for the year, anticipating balanced EBIT despite anticipated slight revenue declines.
