Intershop Reports 2025 Financial Results with Revenue Decline

Intershop Communications AG reported a revenue of EUR 33.3 million for 2025, down from EUR 38.8 million in 2024. The decrease was due to declines in service, license, and maintenance revenues, despite stable cloud revenues at EUR 20.5 million. The operating result (EBIT) was impacted, falling to EUR -2.8 million, largely due to a demanding service project.

The cloud segment maintained a steady performance, with cloud revenue reaching 62% of total revenues. Incoming cloud orders increased by 9% to EUR 21.7 million. However, net new ARR slightly decreased to EUR 0.6 million. The cloud business remains a strategic focus, with margins stable at 65%.

Intershop's CEO, Markus Dränert, had his contract extended to 2029. The company forecasts a balanced result for 2026 due to cost-cutting measures, despite expected lower revenues. The full financial results will be released in March 2026.
