Interroll Holding AG Acquires Interroll AS to Bolster Nordic Presence

Interroll Holding AG, based in Sant'Antonino, Switzerland, has announced the acquisition of Interroll AS, its long-time distributor in Norway. Established by Erik Johannessen in 2000, Interroll AS has been a key distributor of Interroll products and other bulk handling equipment in the region.

The acquisition aims to enhance Interroll's direct presence in the Nordic region, aligning with the company's global strategy. CEO Markus Asch emphasized the importance of customer proximity and continuity in their go-to-market approach. Erik Johannessen will remain during the transition period, while a new managing director will be appointed soon.

This acquisition marks Interroll's third in nine months, following Sortteq and Royal Apollo Group, reflecting its growth strategy. The financial details of the transaction, finalized on June 30, 2026, remain undisclosed.
