International Battery Metals Secures $2.8 Million Investment from EV Metals
International Battery Metals Ltd. (IBAT) has finalized its fourth investment round with EV Metals VII LLC, securing $2.8 million. This continues their existing agreement established in February 2025. In this non-brokered private placement, IBAT issued over 34 million units to EV Metals, each priced at USD $0.08, comprising one common share and one warrant. The warrants allow purchasing additional shares at C$0.148 within four years. Proceeds will support IBAT’s modular direct lithium extraction technology deployment.
The investment is classified as a "related party transaction," with exemptions applied under MI 61-101 regulations. Consequently, no formal valuation or minority approval was required. A structuring fee of 5% was paid to Jacob Warnock. A material change report will be filed due to approval timing.
