Infosys Secures £1.2 Billion NHS Contract for Workforce Management

Infosys has announced a significant £1.2 billion, 15-year contract with the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA). The tech giant will develop the Future NHS Workforce Solution, a modern workforce management system. This initiative aligns with the NHS 10-year Health Plan aimed at creating a future-ready workforce in England and Wales.

The solution will replace the existing Electronic Staff Record system, enhancing payroll processes for 1.9 million NHS employees. It promises a data-driven and user-centric design, equipping healthcare workers with advanced tools while facilitating seamless integration with other systems.

The platform will handle the entire employee lifecycle, offering AI-driven tools for workforce planning and decision-making. This move is part of a strategic step to improve NHS operations and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.
