Infield Minerals Expands Land Holdings in Utah
Infield Minerals Corp. has significantly increased its land holdings at the Detroit Gold Project in Utah. The company has secured an agreement with the School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration (SITLA), allowing exploration of an additional 6,797 acres. This brings the total land package to 14,122 acres, pending processing by the Bureau of Land Management.
The expansion enhances Infield's presence in the promising Drum Mountain district, close to the Bingham Canyon copper-gold mine. The site offers potential for various mineral deposit styles, benefiting from favorable logistic conditions and an extensive technical foundation.
Infield's new claims include areas with key geological targets, such as reactive carbonate rocks that might conceal high-grade gold. The expanded property covers the past-producing Drum gold deposit, providing exploration opportunities through existing open-pit work.
