Implenia wins the contract for the Korsvägen station in Gothenburg

Implenia has signed a contract worth over CHF 250 million to build the Korsvägen underground railway station, a key component of Gothenburg's West Link project. This project aims to improve urban accessibility while increasing rail capacity, in line with sustainability goals. Implenia will utilize its proven methods and digital tools to successfully complete this complex project in the heart of the city.

The contract awarded to Implenia aligns with the company's strategy, which focuses on major infrastructure projects in the Nordic countries. According to Erik Scherer of Implenia's Civil Engineering division, this project strengthens the company's portfolio thanks to its expertise in complex urban challenges.
