Implenia strengthens its offering with the acquisition of Zigmo Engineering

On June 11, 2026, Implenia announced the acquisition of Zigmo Engineering, a German company specializing in load-bearing structure planning. Zigmo currently employs over 70 skilled professionals across five locations in Germany. Integration into the Implenia Group is scheduled for July 13, 2026.

This acquisition perfectly complements Implenia's Service Solutions division portfolio, which aims to become a leader in engineering services in Germany and Switzerland. Zigmo, already a partner on several projects, distinguishes itself through its use of BIM, which promotes informed decision-making and secure execution.

Implenia CEO Jens Vollmar emphasizes that this acquisition aligns with their strategy of expanding into high-margin sectors. Former Zigmo owner Frank Hüther expresses his confidence in Implenia to ensure a smooth transition.
