Immersion selected for the Shariiing Next-Gen project
Immersion, a pioneer in virtual reality in France since 1994, has been selected for the "Innovative Technologies for Immersive Virtual Worlds" call for projects as part of the France 2030 plan. Thanks to Shariiing Next-Gen, the company is accelerating its transition to software, a decisive shift supported by €2.86 million in state funding, managed by Bpifrance. This SaaS platform aims to facilitate immersive collaboration in key sectors such as education, industry, smart cities, and defense.
This strategic project will allow Immersion to develop and deploy Shariiing Next-Gen, while simultaneously strengthening its teams. This innovative software offers adaptable, sovereign, and interoperable collaboration, meeting the needs for fluidity and security in a world where projects and data are complex and diverse.
