IFabric Corp. Introduces Roots® Brand Footwear in Canada
iFabric Corp., via its subsidiary Intelligent Fabric Technologies (North America) Inc. (IFTNA), announced the launch of a Roots® branded footwear line. This new line will initially debut at a wholesale club retailer across Canada. IFTNA has designed the footwear assortment using proprietary performance technologies to enhance comfort, wearability, and freshness, marking a significant product category expansion with potential long-term benefits for the company.
According to IFTNA, this launch is projected to generate approximately $8 million in incremental revenue in its first year. There are plans for future expansion into more styles and seasonal offerings. Giancarlo Beevis, President & CEO of IFTNA, emphasized the program's potential to strengthen IFTNA's capabilities by aligning strong brand identity with advanced technology for club members' benefit. The initiative follows iFabric's other expansion projects, such as launching scrubs in Walmart U.S. and the deployment of PROTX2® technology in the UK and EU.
