HGears AG Reports Stable First-Half 2025 Performance Amid Challenges
hGears AG has reported a slight decrease in revenue for the first half of 2025, with total earnings of EUR 49.5 million, a 1.8% drop year-on-year. Despite declines in the e-Mobility and e-Bike segments, a robust 19.4% increase in e-Tools sales mitigated the impact. This segment, particularly supported by demand in garden tools, achieved EUR 18.0 million in sales.
Adjusted gross profit reached EUR 22.6 million, equating to a margin of 45.6%. Notably, adjusted EBITDA rose to EUR 1.1 million as a result of strategic structural and cost-saving measures, marking a substantial improvement in profitability, although free cash flow stood at EUR -2.3 million.
The company's stable financial footing is exemplified by a net debt of EUR 14.7 million and an equity ratio of 47.8%. hGears maintains its financial outlook for 2025, projecting revenues between EUR 80 and 90 million and an adjusted EBITDA from EUR minus 4 to minus 1 million.
