IBM has officially opened its new German Headquarters and Technology Campus in Ehningen. The event was attended by notable figures including Dr. Karsten Wildberger, Germany's Federal Minister for Digital Affairs, and Thomas Strobl, Deputy Prime Minister of Baden-Württemberg. The campus, located near the IBM Quantum Data Center, encompasses IBM's German headquarters, Research and Development, and an Innovation Studio, offering 3,500 workstations.
The campus showcases IBM's advancements in AI, quantum computing, and hybrid cloud technology. It was designed by Kadawittfeldarchitektur, with interiors by Ippolito Fleitz Group. The building aims to foster collaboration with open spaces and connected pathways.
IBM aims to strengthen Germany's digital innovation and competitiveness through this significant investment. The initiative reflects IBM's commitment to advancing technological excellence and supporting digital autonomy in Germany.
