HZICC: Hangzhou Culture Enriches France and Britain for Chinese New Year
On February 15, 2026, Magny-le-Hongre in Île-de-France embraced the "Festival du Nouvel An Chinois," co-hosted by Xin Europe, HZICC, the local municipality, and AARHF. Attracting around 5,000 attendees, the event featured vibrant displays such as the dragon dance and numerous food stalls. Particularly popular was the Hangzhoufeel booth, showcasing products like Zhiweiguan pastries, Longjing tea, knitted hot water bottles, and "Linping Manufacturing" items, emblematic of Hangzhou's culture and innovation.
Simultaneously, Oxford saw a similar cultural exchange at "Dishion Oxford," a Hangzhou-style noodle shop offering dishes such as Pian'er Chuan noodles. Here, Hangzhou's cultural artefacts, like the knitted hot water bottles, became treasured souvenirs, strengthening international bonds. Both events highlighted HZICC's role in showcasing Hangzhou's heritage and modern stories globally.
