HyProMag USA Expands Texas Plant, Eyes Increased Valuation and U.S. Listing

HyProMag USA has announced an expansion of its Texas facility, significantly boosting magnet production capacity. This move has increased the project's post-tax Net Present Value (NPV) to $409 million at current market prices, and $780 million at forecasted prices. The facility will produce 941 metric tons of recycled sintered NdFeB magnets annually and support critical-mineral supply chains in the U.S.

Operating costs are competitive, with an all-in sustaining cost of $22.3 per kg against a market price of $56.8 per kg. The company plans further scalability, requiring an additional $3 million for more furnaces. Initial capital costs stand at $142 million, with an anticipated payback of 3.1 years under current prices.

HyProMag USA is also initiating a strategic review for a possible U.S. listing. This development is crucial for accessing more investors and capital, benefiting the U.S. magnet sector, with expectations for listing around late 2026 or early 2027.
