HRS Partners with Baker Hughes for Hydrogen Infrastructure Expansion
On August 3, 2026, HRS, a leader in hydrogen refueling stations, announced a strategic partnership with Baker Hughes. This collaboration aims to develop integrated hydrogen infrastructure solutions for mobility and industrial markets. The partnership will last three years and combine HRS's expertise in system integration and refueling with Baker Hughes's compression technologies.
The agreement focuses on hydrogen production centers, distribution, logistics, refueling stations, and storage. HRS and Baker Hughes will create "Hydrogen Filling Centers" and next-generation stations, prioritizing energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Additionally, they will explore joint R&D projects, supported by European funding.
This cooperation, based on a non-exclusive model, allows both companies to maintain independence. The partnership underscores a commitment to advancing the hydrogen economy while meeting market demands for scalability and safety.
