Hugo Boss Revises 2026 Financial Outlook

Hugo Boss AG has adjusted its financial expectations for 2026. The company now foresees a high single-digit percentage decline in currency-adjusted Group sales, compared to a previous estimate of a mid to high single-digit decline. EBIT is projected to be between EUR 250 million and EUR 300 million, down from prior forecasts of EUR 300 million to EUR 350 million. This change is attributed to increased non-cash depreciation for IT assets and softer consumer demand.

Trade net working capital is expected to rise to approximately 21% of Group sales due to changes in supplier payment terms. Capital expenditure is projected to be 4% to 5% of Group sales, reflecting a strategic property acquisition.

In Q3 2026, currency-adjusted Group sales decreased by 5%, with revenues down 4% to EUR 946 million. Despite a gross margin improvement to 63.3%, operating expenses rose 2%, leading to an EBIT of EUR 81 million, representing an 8.6% margin.
