HUBER+SUHNER Maintains Growth Amid Challenging Markets
In the first half of 2026, HUBER+SUHNER AG reported a 5.1% increase in order intake, reaching CHF 542.8 million. Net sales increased by 2.6% to CHF 457.4 million, driven by robust growth in the Industry segment. However, the EBIT margin fell to 9.0% due to upfront investments in Optical Circuit Switches (OCS).
The Industry segment saw a significant boost, with order intake rising by 41.7% to CHF 241.8 million, while the Communication segment suffered a 30.0% drop in order intake, mainly due to upfront investments affecting profitability. The Transportation segment reported a 10.4% increase in order intake, supported by growth in Rail Communications.
HUBER+SUHNER's acquisition of Ingun is expected to complement its test and measurement capabilities. The company remains optimistic, aiming for at least 10% organic growth in sales for 2026.
