Huawei Unveils NG WAN to Enhance Carrier Growth

During MWC Barcelona 2026, Huawei introduced its NG WAN architecture targeting the Internet of Agents era. Leon Wang, President of Huawei's Data Communication Product Line, emphasized advancements in security, network autonomy, and multi-dimensional awareness. These improvements aim to enhance network efficiency and foster intelligent connectivity for carriers.

The new architecture features the Xingluo Identification Engine, boasting over 95% accuracy in identifying encrypted traffic. This, combined with a robust user service characteristics database, helps carriers attract new clients. Huawei's lossless computing boards ensure zero packet loss, elevating data efficiency.

Huawei addresses security with quantum solutions and intelligent boards that detect intrusions instantly. Carriers are equipped to prevent route hijacking with a new main control board using a 40-dimension knowledge graph.
