In Berlin, at InnoTrans 2026, Huawei introduced Intelligent RAIL 2.0, aiming to transform the global rail sector with multifaceted intelligent solutions. This new generation targets increasing efficiency, safety, and long-term service evolution for railways worldwide. Notables such as UIC and UITP joined the launch, discussing the future of AI integration in rail systems.
Jean-Michel Evanghelou from UIC emphasized FRMCS as a critical foundation for digital transformation, while UITP's report, created with CAMET, illustrated AI-driven smart rail advancements. Raymond Zuo from Huawei highlighted the shift toward predictive maintenance and seamless passenger experiences, aligning with modern logistical models.
Huawei's strategy combines communication platforms and industry-specific applications, developed with partners, offering modular solutions across construction, transportation, and maintenance scenarios.
