Petal Ads Launches Smart Culture and Tourism Marketing Solution at ITB China 2026
At ITB China 2026, held in Shanghai from May 26-28, Huawei's Petal Ads introduced a new smart marketing solution for the culture and tourism sectors. The event gathered over 900 institutions from 85 countries and highlighted Huawei's innovations within the HarmonyOS ecosystem. A notable feature was the smart culture and tourism experience zone, presenting technologies designed to enhance travel experiences by mapping the user journey.
As revealed in the Annual Report on China's Outbound Tourism Development 2025-2026 by the China Tourism Academy, China's outbound tourism has seen significant shifts. In response, Huawei's solution addresses challenges such as platform-dominated traffic and the need for personalized experiences, leveraging insights from over 440 million HarmonyOS users.
The company also launched the Petal Ads 2026 Marketing Playbook, presenting five distinct traveller personas with shaped strategies to engage users through real-time, multi-device collaboration. This is part of a growing ecosystem aiming to enhance customer experiences and attract global brands.
