Hong Kong Tech Startup Wins Third Place at MedTech Innovation World Cup 2026
Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) celebrated the achievement of United Sensing & MediTech, a local startup specializing in wearable technology. They secured third place at the MedTech Innovation World Cup 2026 with a smart ring designed for hypertension management.
The event was held at Science Park, marking the return of the Wearable Technologies Conference to Hong Kong after a decade. The Innovation World Cup attracted over 300 entries, highlighting 32 global innovators, including 8 from Hong Kong.
First and second places were awarded to FluoretiQ from the UK for their diagnostic solution and Light House from Switzerland for mobility eyewear. The competition emphasized Hong Kong’s role as a biotech hub, backed by initiatives like InnoHK and RAISe+.
