HMS Bergbau AG Reports Substantial Growth in 2025 Fiscal Year

HMS Bergbau AG released its annual report for 2025, revealing significant growth in key financial metrics. The company, a prominent player in commodities trading based in Germany, tripled its EBITDA to EUR 60.1 million compared to the previous year. Net profits saw a more than fourfold rise, reaching EUR 54.8 million. However, despite these increases, group sales fell from EUR 1.36 billion to EUR 1.22 billion, reflecting lower commodity prices.

HMS anticipates further growth in 2026, with expected revenues of EUR 2 billion and an EBITDA of EUR 55 million. This forecast incorporates a one-time valuation effect from the consolidation of a mining entity in South Africa. Strategic expansions into liquid fuels and raw materials production have positioned HMS as a global commodity house.

Moreover, HMS plans to host a webcast on 6 July 2026 to discuss their financial results and future outlook. The company has suspended its bond issuance but continues investor engagements amid current market conditions.
