HM Exploration Unveils New Sulphide Discovery in Newfoundland
HM Exploration Corp. has announced the completion of three additional drill holes in its ongoing exploration at the Lewis Pilley's Project in Newfoundland, Canada. These holes add 544.27 meters to the total drilling effort, which now stands at 1,632.27 meters of the planned 2,500-meter program. The significant outcome is the discovery of a previously unidentified massive sulphide lens at a depth of approximately 155 meters, suggesting the existence of a vertically extensive VMS system and providing new targets for exploration.
Drill hole PI-26-008 revealed segments of massive chalcopyrite and pyrite mineralization. This discovery supports the potential for multiple stacked sulphide horizons in the region. The company plans to continue exploration efforts, with forthcoming assay results anticipated to provide further insights.
HM's Chief Geologist, Nick Ryan, stated the recent findings extend the known mineralized system and validate the potential for higher resource yields in the project area.
