HLEE Group Posts Solid Revenue for 2025 Despite Challenges

Highlight Event and Entertainment AG (HLEE) reported its annual results for 2025, highlighting a 2% increase in consolidated sales to CHF 412.1 million. Despite a challenging year marked by non-cash impairment charges, operating profit decreased to CHF -248.2 million, influenced by special items in their Sports and Events segment.

The company's liquidity improved significantly, growing by 30.3%, and management is focusing on maintaining these positive trends in free cash flow. Key to these improvements were efficiency programs and cost reductions at HLEE.

In the film sector, HLEE released 17 films, with "Das Kanu des Manitu" achieving over 5 million admissions. Meanwhile, the Sports and Events segment played a crucial role in UEFA's activities and prepared for the 2026 World Darts Championship.

HLEE's outlook for 2026 involves focusing on profitability amidst uncertainties such as inflation and AI-generated content. The group plans at least nine cinema releases and strategic expansion in its sports segment.
