Highlight Group Reports First Half of 2026 Results
Highlight Communications AG has released its financial results for the first half of 2026. The company's consolidated sales reached CHF 127.4 million, down from CHF 156.5 million the previous year. This decline is attributed to production-related factors and currency impacts. However, the EBIT showed improvement, rising by CHF 14.3 million to CHF –13.3 million, compared to CHF –27.6 million last year.
EBITDA increased by CHF 16.1 million to CHF 34.1 million, primarily due to cost savings. Operating expenses fell significantly by CHF 46.7 million, bringing them to CHF 175.7 million, thanks to last year's cost reduction measures.
The company anticipates higher revenues in the second half as major theatrical releases are slated for that period. Despite a challenging environment, Highlight Group managed to improve its financial metrics, reflecting the effectiveness of its operational strategies.
