H.I.G. Capital Welcomes Carlos Couret as Managing Director in Spain

H.I.G. Capital, a global alternative investment firm managing $75 billion, has appointed Carlos Couret as Managing Director. He will lead the Spanish Lower Middle Market private equity team. Carlos brings 17 years of experience in mid-market private equity and has worked across various industries. Previously, he held a senior position at ProA Capital and has experience with BNP Paribas in New York and Madrid.

Wolfgang Biedermann, Head of H.I.G. Private Equity in Europe, expressed confidence in Carlos's ability to enhance their presence in Spain and Portugal. Olivier Boyadjian, head of H.I.G.'s Paris Office, highlighted the appointment as a sign of commitment to Southern Europe.
