HIAG Immobilien's Strong Financial Performance in H1 2026
HIAG Immobilien Holding AG reported a significant increase in net income for the first half of 2026. The company's net income rose by 90.4% to CHF 85.0 million compared to the same period last year. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) surged by 92.7% to CHF 105.7 million, driven by successful marketing of the Chama project condominiums and gains from property revaluations.
The company's property portfolio benefited from a net appreciation of CHF 53.4 million, bolstering its portfolio value to CHF 2.075 billion. Despite a temporary dip in property income due to divestments, like-for-like property income grew by 3.8%. The vacancy rate was low at 2.8%.
HIAG's robust balance sheet, with an equity ratio of 56.4% and a net loan-to-value ratio of 39.2%, provides ample financial flexibility for future growth and development projects, including those in Zurich and Cham. The company is optimistic about continuing its positive trajectory through the remainder of the year.
