FORVIA HELLA Reports Steady Start to 2025 with €2 Billion in Sales
In the first quarter of 2025, FORVIA HELLA achieved group sales of €2.0 billion, maintaining levels similar to the previous year. Operating income reached €109 million, showcasing an operating margin of 5.5%. However, net cash flow recorded a deficit of €61 million, translating to -3.0% relative to reported sales. The company faced challenges, such as a sales downturn in its Lighting business due to phase-outs of series projects, particularly in China and the Americas.
The Electronics segment showed resilience with a 6.4% sales increase, driven by advances in its radar business, particularly in the American and European markets. Conversely, the Lifecycle Solutions sector saw an 8.7% sales drop, hindered by low investments in the commercial vehicle industry.
FORVIA HELLA remains optimistic, reaffirming its fiscal year 2025 outlook. The company anticipates generating sales between €7.6 billion and €8.0 billion, with an operating income margin ranging from 5.3% to 6.0% despite expected declines in global vehicle production.
