Helios Solar AG Progresses Malaysian Solar Project with Strategic Collaborations

Helios Solar AG is advancing its 1 GW solar project in Kelantan, Malaysia, through strategic consultant appointments and capital market engagements. The development integrates 1,000 MW of solar with 1,600 MWh of battery storage over 3,000 acres, targeting operation by 2028–2029 under Malaysia’s CRESS scheme.

The project focuses on technical design, grid studies, and environmental assessments. Key appointments include AHAR Consultant PLT for engineering, Angkasa Consulting Services for civil and electrical engineering, and TNB Labs for impact assessments. Helios is also collaborating with Kapital DX to explore renewable energy certificate distribution and potential VPPA offtakers.
